Peace and resistance are inhaling and exhaling.
Inner and outer liberation are left hand and right hand.
Dance is practicing, healing, daring, doing.
This is the world of Don’t You Feel It Too? Hundreds dance with us (you can too!) to make a new art, a new way of being in public. We make a world where dancing in the streets is real, natural, and available to everyone.
We ask for your donation HERE to support embodied liberation.
With your year-end gift, you will support in 2018:
the public practice, 60+ free sessions in 10+ different locations in the Twin Cities.
15 radical community care workshops at the intersection of dance, activism, healing, and spirituality.
If you’ve danced with us or seen how this practice changes spaces, minds, and hearts, support Grace Minnesota and Don’t You Feel It Too? to reach their goal of $3000. Give now or on Give to the Max Day or through the end of the year. Thank you!
Can We Brag A Little?
From April to October, we offered 75 free, public sessions of our participatory dance practice, in 17 locations in the Twin Cities
In April, we created a powerful dance action at Planned Parenthood helping “defuse the negativity” around the largest annual protest and counter-protest, said security.
In May, we introduced Don’t You Feel It Too? To UC Irvine at their improv comedy and the QTPOC festivals (what a combo!)
In June, we created a large-scale event at Pride called “Dance. Love. Liberate.” Thousands participated.
In August, we created the DanceBreak Challenge with solo dancing dispersed throughout the cities.
In September, we were at the Healing Place Festival and hosted our first Symposium/retreat.
In October, we co-sponsored Reverend angel Kyodo williams at Clouds in Water and helped bring together an amazing POC community.
Did you know we are writing a 1000-year plan?? We look forward to sharing that with you soon!
In 2018, we are excited to bring to you and many communities the daring and unique practice of Don’t You Feel It Too?
