“I connect with everything,
but I’m not attached to anything.”
— Alysa Liu
“In the unnamed, in the unshapen,
is not wanting.
In not wanting is stillness.
In stillness all under heaven rests.”
— Ursula K. Le Guin's version of the Tao, from verse 37

Were you enchanted by Alysa Liu's gold medal performance and happy fearlessness? Is her glowing attitude a kind of mindfulness practice? Do you want to share sips of tea and dance tea drunk at Clouds in Water Zen Center? Or is it Zen drunk?

Alysa is coming to St. Paul to perform her sparkly wisdom on May 10! In honor of her magical mindfulness, I'm hosting five tea sessions called The Alysa Liu Disco Zen Tea Room. Makes sense, right? Please drop in. We'll cultivate quiet sips and wild Donna Summer flow. We'll enjoy modest snacks alongside passages from the Tao. We'll look for our own gold medal comeback stories.

Fri May 1 — 4:30-6:30pm

Sat May 2 — 4:30-6:30pm

Mon May 4 — 5:00-7:00pm

Tue May 5 — 5:00-7:00pm

Sun May 10 — 11:00am-1:00pm

No registration or experience needed. Everyone is welcome. Free, and any donation to Clouds in Water is appreciated. This is a project by Marcus Young 楊墨 and Don't You Feel It Too?
